GħSL condemns any attempt to intimidate or hinder the ability of any advocate from conducting their work in representing their client. We agree wholeheartedly with the statement issued by the Chamber of Advocates earlier today on this matter.

Advocates are crucial in maintaining the rule of law, making sure that everyone has access to legal representation, and guaranteeing a fair hearing. It is not only unprofessional, but also subverts the integrity of our legal system, to bully or make fun of an advocate for representing their client.
