Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi is happy to hear of the appointment of four new magistrates, namely Dr Kevan Azzopardi, Dr Gianella Camilleri Busuttil, Dr Abigail Critien, and Dr Joseph Gatt.

Following a public call late last year, 26 people applied, with 12 persons being recommended by the Judicial Appointments Committee.

Following this appointment, the judiciary will be composed of 27 judges, and 25 magistrates.
